Today they run the full stack of Amar — accounting and finance, HR and rotas, the website and in-store kiosks, WhatsApp store sync, and social media that answers customers on its own. Sam just runs the shop.
Before Amar: a whole business run off a phone and a spreadsheet
Every evening ended with Sam copying the day's takings off the till and into a spreadsheet by hand, then sending it to the accountant once a month. Mistakes crept in, and the numbers were always a few weeks behind reality.
What was on the website rarely matched what was actually in the display. Keeping it current was another job nobody had time for, so it slowly went stale.
Instagram got a post whenever Sam remembered — usually not during the busy weekend when it mattered most. Regulars knew the shop; new customers walking past didn't.
